What to Check When Buying
Boom: Check for bends, broken segments and defective fold hydraulics. Boom repair: €5,000–20,000.
Nozzles: Test ceramic or stainless nozzles for wear and even output.
Tank: Check plastic tank for cracks, cleanability and residual contamination.
Pump: Test flow rate and pressure. Piston pumps last longer than centrifugal pumps.
Electronics: Test GPS auto-steering and section control system.
