What to Check When Buying
Discs and blades: These are the main wear parts. Check remaining thickness (discs under 4 mm: replacement needed).
Bearings: Disc bearings are maintenance-intensive. On oil-bath bearings: check seals.
Frame: Look for weld cracks and deformations, especially on heavy cultivator models.
Hydraulics: Test fold hydraulics for leaks, all cylinders.
